Mr. Winkle, the Cyber-dog
Because this pooch's bizarre appearance often caused fits of laughter from passers-by, owner Lara Jo Regan decided to share her pet's propensity for spreading joy via the Internet. The web site features photos of Mr. Winkle, a short self-titled film, and his own, ready-to-order posters and 12-month Calendar!
Mr. Winkle, who recently made his debut in September, 2000, wasted no time in achieving Cyber-Celebrity Status He was featured in CNNOnline and even made an appearance on the Rosie O'Donnel Show! However, don't think he's letting all the attention go to his head. Mr. Winkle uses his newly-found popularity to spread happiness and laughter to all who encounter him, especially children. As Regan notes on her web site,"His goal is to do all he can to make ALL THINGS WINKLE a success, so that generous portions of proceeds can be used to help animals and children in need."
