EXHIBITION
DISPLAY:
February
13 - February 23, 2001
University Gallery
University of Florida, Gainesville
Why
create an exhibition around iStuff?
Because web sites are simply digital bits void of any physical presence,
if they are removed from cyberspace, any and all relative data can
be lost forever. Like television and film, memorabilia–-toys, models,
ephemera–-are a simple, but highly effective means of immortalizing
and making collectible a particular show, actor, icon, or in this
case, web site.

*Note:
All
toys and items on display are for research purposes only. In no way
will they be distributed, manufactured, or sold to any individual
or company. They simply serve as possible examples of how popular
web sites might enter mainstream pop culture through the creation
and mass distribution toys and merchandise. If you have any questions
or concerns regarding any of the above items, please e-mail me at
